Puzzle

How do you put yourself back together after a loss? Like a puzzle whose pieces no longer match.

Puzzle began in 2023, after a deep loss in the artist's family. The series is about grief and about rebuilding: taking the pieces that are left and fitting them into something uneven, but whole again.

In these works, faces split apart and come back together. An eye, a nose and a pair of lips can belong to one face or to several. The series includes paintings and art objects, from cut-out pieces to painted chairs.
